I'm just playing with a redesign, so this one might not be permanent. I'm also playing with Blosxom, a lightweight, open source weblog engine which appeals to me because I can control the database myself, something I never could in Movable Type. Entries get corrupted, and I get constant errors with MT whenever I rebuild and I can't do anything about it. However, migrating this whole thing over to another engine is going to take awhile.
As for the design, I admit stealing the layout from this CSS Zen Garden example, beautifully done by Micheal Tupy. Although I've sufficiently screwed with it enough that he'd probably not want to be associated with it.
I am toying with a few other layouts, with the main concept of leaving some room on the page for more of a photoblog. I'm not saying the concept (dare I say mission) of KIPlog will change, just the appearance.
I'm almost ready to start posting again. Until then, I'll just post another bug.

Instead of posting something, I'll just put up a picture of a pretty bug.

It's an Ailanthus Webworm Moth.
