More podcasting

I'm listening to a lot of podcasts lately. Here's a few that might be of interest.

The Accidental Creative about 'establishing creative rhythms' Beware of the screeching tire sound effect in the intro if your walking across a street while listening to this, it'll scare the be-jesus out of you.

Basic Brewing Radio 2 guys stand around making (and sometimes drinking) beer.

Learn Italian Pod I've got a month and a half to learn Italian. Then I have to learn Sicilian.

PhotoShop TV Some guys sit around and talk about PhotoShop. More exciting than it sounds.

The Restaurant Guys A real radio show, these 2 guys sit around talking about food and interviewing great guests. Winner of one of the KIPlog 2005 non-blog food awards.

This Week in Tech (TWIT) Guys who know what they're talking about (except for Dvorak) sit around and talk tech news.

An absolute 'must listen' is Bruce Sterling's Presentation at SXSW, The State of the World "his vision of global drama and the human condition, circa 2006."

Barack Obama has a podcast "Audio reports on issues affecting Illinois, the nation and the U.S. Senate." I haven't listened to this one yet, but I'll get around to it.

There's a hint on Alton Brown's page about an upcoming podcast too.

Tragedy In Springfield

While no one was killed, a night tornado caused much suffering to those of us who love giant fiberglass statues of mythical folk heroes who sell tires.

Paul Bunyan has been decapitated.
